Richard Dey

Richard is a director at William Buck where he leads the specialist audit team in the Tauranga office. He has over 20 years’ experience in audit and accounting, including involvement with many not for profit organisations, investment holders and the education sector.

Richard is the appointed auditor on behalf of the Office of the Auditor General for a number of Bay of Plenty secondary schools. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and is currently a Councillor, representing the Waikato/Bay of Plenty region and New Zealand on the Trans-Tasman Council.

Richard has a long history of involvement in the community and is a member of the BOP Polytech Business School Local Advisory Council and the Chairman of Bay of Plenty Cricket.
